In sickness and In health.... well, it's the thought that counts

I've been sick with something for about a week. I have been totally out of commission while our three homeschooled children have been having a blast running a muck through the household. Does anyone know how to get rest with three wired kids in the house, and no one around willing to take them for a while for fear of getting sick too? The only thing I can think of is the old television.

As I was complaining to Hero (who is still in Iraq) on the phone about all of this and how tired I feel, he said that he wished he could be home to help. I told him that if he was home he'd very likely come down with whatever it is that I have. He said he didn't care, he rather be home with me. Aw... how sweet! I know he means it too; he has taken off from work before just to stay home with the kids and give me a 'sick day'. I have the most thoughtful hubby! He really is my Hero.

I would love to know the answer to that question! When I am sick, they practically live in front of the Tv. IT is just more safe that way.

Hi there! I just found you through my sisters blog and we have a lot in common. My hubby is in the National Guard and is looking to get deployed (again) in less than a year. I love your hero countdown on your sidebar! Getting sick while my hubby is away is not fun. I'm praying you'll get be at 100 percent soon.
God Bless,
Jackie
